In honor of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) this coming Thursday April 11th, the Seventh Grade will be focusing on the lives of children who 'celebrated' their Bar or Bat Mitzvah in the Ghetto's or concentration camps.Unit Objective:
By the end of this unit, students will be able to put into perspective the life of a WWII child preparing and 'celebrating' their Bar/Bat Mitzvah with their own.
Work Instructions: We will be studying the life of a young man called Moshe who 'celebrated' his Bar Mitzvah in the Brzeziny Ghetto.
Step 1:

- In a Google Doc that you must create, respond to ALL the writing prompts from the handout.
- If you do not have a computer, please complete your work on paper.

Step 2:
- Submit your work via the dropbox on my class page called: 'Bar/Bat Mitzvah in the Getto'.
- If you worked on paper, please turn in your work to the substitute teacher.
