
Unit Objective:
By the end of this unit, students will be able to put into perspective the life of a WWII child preparing and 'celebrating' their Bar/Bat Mitzvah with their own.
Work Instructions: We will be studying the life of a young man called Moshe who 'celebrated' his Bar Mitzvah in the Brzeziny Ghetto.
Step 1:
- Click on the link to the handout HERE, and read the stories and testimonials from the sheet.
- In a Google Doc that you must create, respond to ALL the writing prompts from the handout.
- If you do not have a computer, please complete your work on paper.
- The links to the 'Watch and Listen' Videos clips can be found by clicking HERE.
Step 2:
- Submit your work via the dropbox on my class page called: 'Bar/Bat Mitzvah in the Getto'.
- If you worked on paper, please turn in your work to the substitute teacher.
